Archaeology at St. Mary's Priory/The Abbey, Rathmullan

The newly conserved Abbey ( St. Mary's Priory) stands high above Lough Swilly shore but what lies beneath these storied walls.
Richard Crumlish, archaeologist on the Abbey Conservation Project, talks on site about his archaeological research together with the work undertaken by the Project team.
At 4 p.m. refreshments in the SVP Centre, Chapel Road (F92 CK3H), will be followed by a discussion on aspects of Rathmullan's built heritage which is particularly at risk, due to the pressures of modernisation.
