David Hicks will present an illustrated talk on how the dynastic ambitions of the Cuff and Knox families, in the 18th and 19th centuries, profoundly influenced the built heritage of Ballinrobe in Co. Mayo. The event is free and refreshments will be served. Donations welcome.

David Hicks is an architectural historian, author, and the District Inspector for the Northwest region of the Office of Public Works (OPW). He oversees regional heritage and building projects and lectures on Irish country houses.
