From Assisi in Italy to the shores of Ireland, the Franciscans shaped Irish society, politics and religion.

Join us for an Italian-language guided tour of the XIII-century Friary in Ennis and explore the impact of the Franciscan Order on the town's cultural and built heritage.

As we mark the 800th anniversary of Francesco’s death, learn about the foundation and flourishing of Ennis medieval Friary, the fate of the friars after the Dissolution of the Monasteries and the role of the Franciscan Order in modern-day Ennis.

Suitable for Italians speakers and Italian language enthusiasts alike.

The tour is free of charge and lasts approximately 30–35 minutes.

In occasione dell’ottocentesimo anniversario della morte di San Francesco, unitevi a noi per una visita guidata in italiano al maestoso monastero francescano di Ennis, risalente al XIII secolo.

Il tour dura 30-35 minuti ed è gratuito.
