Amhráin agus scéalta in Carrowkeel co. Sligo - an immersive musical walk

An immersive walk in the heart of Carrowkeel megalithic complex, Co. Sligo, to engage with the Irish language through stories, songs and chants.
Facilitated by Queer Shed Sligo, gaeilgeoir and soprano Rachel Nic Thomás and Sligo based sound artist Catachán. We will gather at Carrowkeel car park and walk together to the cairns, taking stops along the way to listen and share words, stories and songs in Irish and English.

11AM - meeting at Carrowkeel car park, cupán tae, grounding meditation
11:20AM - start of the walk with stops along the way.
2:30PM - End

Light refreshments will be offered to all participants.
Waterproofs and hiking shoes are highly recommended.
No previous knowledge of the Irish language is required.
