A Guided Tour of Baltinglass Abbey

The Office of Public Works cares for and maintains over 700 historical monuments across Ireland. From the preserved ruins of medieval abbeys, to ancient stone forts set among the stunning Irish landscape there are a number of these monuments whose rich history remains unknown to many. One of these National Monuments is Baltinglass Abbey in County Wicklow and on Wednesday August 19th; there will be an OPW led guided tour of Baltinglass Abbey between 2pm and 4pm.
