Drawing on a meticulous transcription of the Wicklow Borough Corporation minute book (1662–1707) for the County Archives, this talk offers a glimpse into the life and evolution of Wicklow Town. Discover intriguing insights into local trade, diet, politics, oaths of allegiance, family histories, and placenames. Join us to learn who lived in the town, what their lives were like, and how the town developed over time.
