The life and career of Fr. Michael O'Flanagan, Rebel Curate of North Sligo. After his removal from the village, which ignited the Cliffoney Rebellion, Fr. O'Flanagan rose to national prominence as vice-president of Sinn Féin Private papers and letters, newspaper articles and R.I.C. reports from 1915 to 1920 reveal details of the power struggle between Church and State. From Cliffoney to Crosna, Fr. O’Flanagan’s own account of the events leading up to the Rebellion, will be available.
