This mixed media adult workshop, led by artist Jane Groves and inspired by the natural surroundings of the Devenish Lands at Dowth, will feed your mind, body and artistic soul.
The day begins at the 18th-century manor house of Dowth Hall. There you will be treated to a guided tour of the archaeological excavation of the passage tomb cemetery beside the house. This will inspire a relaxed day of drawing and print making a short walk away near the banks of the river Boyne. Responding to the lush landscape of Dowth, you will be encouraged to create sketches, prints and artworks based on your encounters.
Suitable for participants of varying artistic experience. You will need to have good mobility and wear suitable footwear for walking on uneven ground.
