Waterford Harbour Tides & Tales
The Three Sister River network of the Barrow, Nore and Suir has been a vibrant artery and resource for hundreds of years. Families were reared on the rivers and it sustained fishing, boating, recreation and transport. Each headland, bay and in many cases even rocks had names associated with their locations. This online project will reach out to those with a love of the rivers, exploring and captuirning the origins of these names, preserving them for the future.
