Irish Art in the National Gallery of Ireland

Kate Drinane
National Gallery of Ireland

The National Gallery of Ireland has been working to keep the national collection available to the public as much as possible during these uncertain times. While they cannot run tours in the Gallery at the moment they can still guide you through the collection at home or in the Gallery. They have put together a collection of works to highlight how Irish history is represented on the walls of the Gallery. You can enjoy these on the Gallery’s website from home or use it as a guide through the Gallery rooms while in the building with friends and family. This National Heritage Week engage with the collection and delve deeper into how Irish history is represented through art.
