Build a mini wormery from natural and recycled materials with this project from Kids Community Garden KCG. Learn all about the “worms world”, where a worm lives and their importance for healthy soil and healthy plants. Learn how worms can eat left over kitchen waste and turn it into high quality compost. Each child will bring home a mini wormery complete with native worms. This fun and interactive workshop will teach children interesting facts about our native worms and how they work their magic transforming unwanted kitchen waste into soil enhancing compost. The project organiser will work with a small group of children connected with KCG. It will record this small event in the form of a video presentation to share publicly on social media.
