It was another great success with many more events hosted and more people getting involved for the first time.
The Heritage Council is once again delighted to host the National Heritage Week ‘Event Organisers Awards’ to showcase the very best of National Heritage Week. It gives us an opportunity to recognise the fantastic work of all the event organisers and volunteers that take part.

All National Heritage Week Event Organisers are eligible to enter and the categories for this years awards are:
- Best Overall Event
- Best event organised by a Community Group/NGO/Individual
- Best Children’s Event (Under 12′s)
- Best Interactive Event
- Most innovative Event
- Best Event Organised in conjunction with A Local Authority

National Heritage Week August 23rd to 31st 2014
Event Registration for National Heritage Week 2014 is now open!
Interested parties are now able to complete a registration form online or request a hard copy by post.
The deadline for inclusion in our print guide is the 31st of May, however you may continue to upload events for our online listing right up until Heritage Week 2014 commences on the 23rd August. Please note that if you register your event after 15th of July, we will not be able to send you an organisers’ toolkit by post. However, all the resources can be downloaded here.
All event details are subject to approval. Once approved your event will be uploaded to events section of this website.
