Free Wild Child Day Events

Wednesday 23rd August is Wild Child Day and is dedicated to wild children everywhere.

Encourage your kids to put down their iPads and computer games, get off the couch and get muddy!

At the Heritage Council we feel it is important for the on-going health of our nation’s young people and the future of our unique environment to get children thinking about biodiversity.

All over the country, events have been planned to capture the interest of our youngest citizens. Because without the support and interest of our young people the future for our environment will be very challenging indeed.

Here’s a list of free Wild child day events to get you started.
