Heritage Week events on Facebook
You can now explore all of the events of Heritage week right inside of Facebook with the new Heritage Week Facebook app.
Once in the app you can browse events in the Search Events tab. Every event detail page will provide the option to Share this Event as a Facebook Event.
This will prompt you to allow the app permissions it needs to allow you to share the event with your friends.
This is a once off dialogue and you will not be asked this again. Click allow to continue.
The event will appear on your Wall, and it will appear in your friends’ News Feeds. You can add an additional note to the event and you can invite friends to join you in attending the event. The Heritage Week event will now be part of your personal Facebook Events calendar so that you can track all the events you want to attend right within your Facebook page. Of course you can always then post your own photos of the event in Facebook later and keep your friends up to date.
